I am adopting a ritual of cleaning an area of my living space every couple of days for the next 2-3 months then we can see how we can maintain it minimally. Sometimes I let things go to the limit in terms of messiness due to procrastination. I am being proactive now. My living space is a reflection of my mental state. It has gotten better since I returned from my SF visit with Coco and Zoe. Since then, I have been cleaning up or organizing a corner at a time and as of yesterday, I put it in my planner. I am hoping that it will only take a month to organize everything. Alas, the reality of it is that it will probably take two given life's distractions. Like Coco says 'this is for your future self.' I ruminate about that. I am going to practice this mental clean up with food. The question that I forget to ask myself is this "is this adding or subtracting from your life?" I am consistently in a state of survival mode.
